Delegated Building Inspectors

Inspectors, contracted by a School Board, shall conduct the required inspections (except final inspections) and require corrections or modifications as necessary to ensure that a building or structure is constructed in conformity with the building code adopted by The Division and shall provide copies of their inspection report to DFPC.

As of January 14, 2025 the title of Third Party Inspector has been replaced by Delegated Building Inspector.

ICC Certified

Copy of current ICC Certification

 

Non ICC Certified

Resume of past five (5) years of qualified work performed (must include)

Expiration Information
  • Delegated Building Inspector Certifications (with valid ICC Commercial Building Inspector Certification) are valid for three (3) years from date of issuance.
     
  • Delegated Building Inspector Certifications (without valid Commercial Building Inspector ICC Certification) are valid for one (1) year from date of issuance.
    • You can extend your certification by providing us with your earned ICC Certification at any time during your certification year.

       

  • Delegated Building Inspector Certifications (without valid Commercial Building Inspector ICC Certification) that are valid for one year from date of issuance are non renewable without obtaining Commercial Building Inspector ICC Certification.
