Sections

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control (DFPC) has four main sections:

• Center of Excellence
• Fire & Life Safety
• Professional Qualifications and Training
• Wildland Fire Management

 Each section serves Colorado's fire community in a different capacity. Services include:

• Training firefighters
• Making technological advancements in public safety
• Suppressing wildfires
• Enforcing building codes

DFPC dedicates itself to serving and safeguarding the people of Colorado. It does this while also protecting property, resources, the environment, and quality of life.
