Sections

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) has four main sections. These sections include the Center of Excellence, Fire & Life Safety, Professional Qualifications & Training, and Wildland Fire Management. Each section serves Colorado's fire community in a different capacity. Services include:

• training firefighters
• making technological advancements in public safety
• suppressing wildfires
• enforcing building codes

DFPC dedicates itself to serving and safeguarding the people of Colorado. It does this while also protecting property, resources, the environment, and quality of life.
