Colorado Division Of Fire Prevention And Control Releases Fire Needs Assessment Report
The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) completed its biennial Fire Service Needs Assessment. Conducted from November 2024 to the end of December 2024, this project aimed to create a comprehensive census of all fire departments in the state. This includes departments staffed by career personnel, volunteers, or a combination of both. This report presents the findings from that data collection effort.

State Of Colorado Launches New Fleet Of Mobile Fire Safety And Investigations Trailers
To enhance fire investigation efforts and expand public education on fire safety, Fire and Life Safety (FLS), a section of the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC), has deployed a new fleet of high-tech mobile trailers across the state. The initiative includes two Arson Investigation Units and four Fire Safety Simulator Trailers—each purpose-built to serve communities with critical tools and training directly where they are needed.
TikTok Awareness Campaign Launched

2022 Fire Service Needs Assessment Survey
