The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) is excited to announce that the application process to apply for equipment funded by the State is open!
Application Process - Opened on July 24, 2023
This year, DFPC has 3 million dollars for the direct distribution of firefighter personal protective equipment (PPE) to include structural and wildland PPE, wildland line packs, fire shelters, extrication PPE, and self-contained breathing apparatus to fire agencies throughout Colorado.
All PPE ordered by DFPC through this funding will meet the current NFPA standards.
