Fire Safe Cigarettes
Senate Bill SB08-026 went into effect 31 July, 2009. It create a new law, 24-33.5-1214,C.R.S., which is designed to limit the risk that cigarettes will ignite common household items. This results in fewer deaths, injuries, and property loss from fires caused by cigarettes.

All Fire Safe Cigarette (FSC) Certifications expire three (3) years from the date of issue.

The certification fee is $1,000 for each brand family certified.
Please do not pay for certifications prior to submitting your application.
