While it may seem early to talk about firework safety, we're thrilled to share our expanded 'Bucket Brigade' safety program! Thanks to the American Pyrotechnics Safety & Education Foundation, we've crafted a campaign teaching elementary-aged kids about fire and firework safety, along with the history of the Bucket Brigade.

we know many enjoy the holiday with professional shows or legal fireworks. Inspired by the historical bucket brigade where neighbors helped neighbors, our program encourages kids to remind adults to soak spent fireworks overnight. This simple step prevents trash, garage, and home fires caused by improper disposal. Let's keep our celebrations safe! Contact CRR Unit Chief, Kim Spuhler at kim.spuhler@state.co.us if you would like more information.
