- Learn more about the Wildfire Immediate Need (WIN) Program
The intent of the Wildfire Immediate Need (WIN) program is to mobilize requested suppression resources with disciplined accountability in a timely fashion during rapidly emerging new incidents (wildfire or all hazard), as well as on extended attack
incidents experiencing an impending threat to significant values at risk. Resources mobilized under WIN commit to be assigned to the incident for either the first operational period (i.e., up to 24 hours) or up to 72 hours exclusive of travel.
The following documents outline the processes and procedures in the DFPC Wildfire Immediate Need (WIN) program. If you have questions, reach out to your DFPC Resource Mobilization Battalion Chief (RMBC).
WIN Ordering_Details.pdf: Specifies the considerations and steps necessary for your agency to request WIN resources.
