The Incident Qualification System (IQS) is a web-based software computer program to document qualifications, training, physical fitness levels, and experience of wildland firefighters.
IQS Web is available for local and state government firefighters to:
- Produce Incident Qualification cards (Redcards) recognized by the interagency fire community.
- Upload qualifications into the Resource Ordering Status System (ROSS) for deployment within the interagency fire community.
- The State of Colorado, Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) hosts the IQS software (IQS Web) and data server providing the gateway between IQS Web and ROSS. DFPC incurs all costs associated with hosting the software and managing the IQS Web servers within Colorado.
