Incident Qualification System (IQS)

The Incident Qualification System (IQS) is a web-based program to document qualifications, training, physical fitness levels, and experience of wildland firefighters. IQS Web is available for local and state government firefighters to:

  • Produce incident qualification cards (Redcards) recognized by the interagency fire community.
  • Upload qualifications into the Resource Ordering Status System (ROSS) for deployment within the interagency fire community.

DFPC hosts IQS Web and the data server that provides the gateway between IQS Web and ROSS. DFPC incurs all costs associated with hosting the software and managing the IQS Web servers in Colorado.
