State Fire Agency Names New Training Section Chief

Lakewood, CO- The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) is pleased to announce Lisa Pine as the new Professional Qualifications and Training Section Chief. Pine joined DFPC in 2015 as DFPCs Training and Safety Officer. In that role, she worked with fire departments statewide to ensure all members of the fire service have the training they need to stay safe and meet the needs of their communities. In August 2019, she earned the position of Administrator with the newly created Colorado Fire Commission, a diverse group of stakeholders evaluating Colorado’s fire issues.
“Lisa is a visionary strategist who I'm confident will help move our Professional Qualifications and Training Section forward," said DFPC Director, Mike Morgan. “Lisa’s strong communication skills and meaningful experience developing and maintaining relationships within the fire community will be invaluable as she takes on the role of Section Chief."
